Privacy statement

What happens to your data.

No long legal copy. What's written here is what I actually do. I process as little data as possible, keep it no longer than necessary, and share it with no one. What you'd expect from a data architect.

Who I am

DataFox BI is a sole proprietorship of Sebastiaan M.J. de Waard, based in Wageningen, the Netherlands. I'm the sole party responsible for the processing of personal data via this website.

What I collect

Email contact
If you send me an email (via the mailto: links on this site), I receive your email address and the content of your message. That's it. The message lands directly in my inbox and is stored nowhere else.

Website visits
This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that places no cookies and stores no IP addresses. I only see counts (how many visitors, which pages). No tracking, no profiling.

This website places no cookies.

What I use it for

Solely to respond to your message. I do not use your data for marketing, do not share it with third parties and do not sell it.

How long I keep it

I keep email correspondence as long as it's needed for the business conversation, and delete it as soon as that's no longer the case. In practice: if a conversation leads nowhere, I delete it within three months.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. Send an email to [email protected]. I respond within 5 business days.

If you have a complaint about how I handle your data, you can file it with the Dutch Data Protection Authority via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
